#17 (fee summits), archival inkjet print, 11 x 15" (min. paper dimensions 16 x 19")

i had 2 choices for the last leg of the day. one would have been a rather long
circle around some mountains with a slow climb. the other was much shorter on
a truck restricted often closed road. i took the fast way. there would be a pass
i would have to climb but it was only 6000 something feet, no biggy.

oops! due to the crappy condition of my atlas i misread that 6000 something
it was actualy a 8000 something. let me tell you a 10% grade is very steep.
Fee said some VERY unlady like things. she also made it quite clear im to eat
only carrots and drink lite beer the rest of my life. we struggled up that
mountain for 10 miles going 10 mph. quite cold and snowflakes started to fall.
but summit we did!

Fees grumbling died away when she saw the 10% grade downhill for the next 5 miles.
we zoomed down that thing with Fee screaming "WWEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" all the way down.

we came into jackson hole. got a overpriced room with no internetz and crashed.
